Average project costs
One of the first questions many customers ask is what their project will cost. We understand, it can be difficult to find the answer to that question. We also know that many people never stop "paying" for a project when they choose to invest a minimal amount and get bad results. That's why we don't offer builder-grade services- we want you to be happy with your project as long as you live in your home.
Read on to see what some popular projects cost to complete. Please keep in mind- these costs are only examples. Current market conditions are volatile with price increases from our suppliers taking place frequently. Please expect that your project cost may vary from what is described below.
New kitchen
These rooms can vary greatly in size and can flow into other areas in an open-concept home. A typical kitchen may be around 150-200 sq ft.
Mid-range: New semi-custom or custom cabinets, granite or quartz counter tops, backsplash, new lighting and appliances. $50-85k+
Upper-range: Relocation of appliances, complete change to lighting and electrical devices, new flooring, custom cabinets, luxury stone or quartz counter tops, designer backsplash, and new high-grade appliances. $85-110k+


BATHROOM REMODEL
An average main bathroom includes a combined bathtub and shower, a single toilet and a single vanity. This bathroom usually gets the most use and is for kids and/or guests and is 50 sq ft or less.
Mid-range: includes a subway tile bathtub surround or shower, a porcelain tile floor, a furniture vanity, Kohler toilet and Delta fixtures, updated light fixtures and paint. $25-30k+
Upper-range: higher-grade fixtures, complex tile installations, in-floor heat, custom vanity and counter top, etc. $30-40k+
Master BATHROOM REMODEL
An average master bathroom includes a separate bathtub and shower, a single toilet and a double vanity. This bathroom should have more and better features than other bathrooms in the home and is 100+ sq ft.
Mid-range: includes a free-standing acrylic soaking tub, a separate tiled shower with custom glass enclosure, porcelain tile floor, a double vanity, Kohler toilet and Delta fixtures, updated light fixtures and paint. $45-75k+
Upper-range: changes to layout, higher-grade fixtures and materials, complex tile installations, in-floor heat, etc. $75-90k+


FINISHED BASEMENT
One of the best investments you can make in your home is a finished basement. These spaces are usually 800-1500 finished sq ft, include a bedroom, 3/4 bathroom and family room, and often include fireplaces, wet bars, and home theaters.
Mid-range: $65+/sq ft + costs for amenities
Upper-range: $90+sq ft + costs for amenities
whole house remodel
Remodeling your main level or your entire home is a great way to update and improve your home all at once. Home improvement projects may include several bathrooms, a complete kitchen remodel, movement of walls and windows, and adding rooms or entire levels to your home.
Mid-range: $135+/sq ft + costs for bathrooms and kitchens
Upper range: $200+/sq ft + costs for bathrooms and kitchens


Home addition
Adding on to your home can give you the added space and comfort you need. This type of project may include general living space, a master suite, a 4-season porch or a second story addition. These can be complicated projects with a wide price range and may affect other areas of your home.
Mid-range: $180-250+/sq ft + costs for bathrooms and kitchens
Upper-range: $300+/sq ft + costs for bathrooms and kitchen.
Fireplaces and Wet Bars
Natural gas fireplaces are popular additions in finished basements, living rooms, master bedrooms, 4-season porches and outdoor living spaces. Wet bars are frequently included in finished basements and may include seating and several appliances.
Mid-range: $10-20k+ each
Upper-range: $20-40k+/ each
